Assault of a teenager filmed in front of a college in Reims: The suspect has been arrested
The Reims public prosecutor confirmed that a complaint had been lodged and that an investigation was still ongoing, according to France Bleu-Champaign-Ardenne.
The attack took place in front of a college in Reims and was filmed and then broadcast on social media. We see a teenager punching and kicking a little girl. The alleged perpetrator has been arrested, as is the person who filmed the scene, France Bleu Champaign Ardenne reported on Tuesday, September 8th.
The Reims Public Prosecutor confirms that a complaint has been filed and that an investigation is still underway, entrusting it to the Administrative Security at Reims Police Station.
The victim was punched in the face
The video was widely shared on social media on Tuesday 8 September. We can clearly see the attacker, dressed in black, hitting his victim's face with his hands and feet. The little girl gets up, comes back to her, attacks her again, and drops her to the ground. He continues hitting her and even crushes her head with his foot.
Several young men attended the scene, we hear some of them laughing and others calling out to the aggressor: Stop Nabil! The scene lasts about forty seconds, and this violence continues with the comments that the video will post on the networks.
"The violent video of a young girl’s assault is being circulated on the networks is indescribable! No apology! Do not participate in publishing this violent content. If you have seen this scene please contact the police," on her Twitter account, Marilyn Schiappa, Minister of Nationality.
